The American Kennel Club (AKC) has fought laws and regulations seeking to ban tail docking and hearing cropping because it feels that purebred canines should conform to certain breed requirements. But performing clinically unnecessary methods on canines only perpetuates the notion they are fashion accessories. Unfortunaely, many breeders insist that “their” breed will be “ruined” if it does not keep up with the image passed down by breed night clubs decades ago.

AKC doggie beauty pageants are filled with dogs who have been mutilated for no justification. Dogs usually have their ears cropped when they may be eight to 12-weeks old just. At this time in their development, the trauma of the task can have a solid psychological impact on the maturing pup. The procedure of taping and re-taping a pups ears to pressure them to stand erect once they have been cropped can be agonizing for the dog.

The American Veterinary Medical Association has pointed out that, “ear canal cropping and tail docking aren’t medically indicated nor of great benefit to the individual. These procedures cause pain and distress, and, as with all surgical treatments, are accompanied by inherent risks of anesthesia, loss of blood, and infection.” As the methods are so cruel and dangerous, they have been banned in many Europe.

Many veterinarians also condemn de-barking because it is superfluous, causes dogs a great deal of post-operative pain, and whitening strips them of their natural methods to communicate. Yet some individuals resort to this cruel, invasive procedure as a “solution” to problem barking—even though there are humane and effective alternatives, including simple positive training methods.

Thankfully, some individuals who were considering subjecting their animals to these inhumane and unnecessary procedures will probably think twice given that Banfield has turn out against them—setting a good example for other animal hospitals to check out. With any luck, declawing of pet cats will be another cruel and unnecessary treatment to be banned. As you can see from the above, many French women choose to bottom their wardrobe on clothes in basic neutral colours. They might add in a few items in a imprinted fabric or fabric with a structure, but they are very careful about what they choose as it needs to be flexible and match the fundamentals.

French women very seldom wear floral designs and have a great love for Breton stripes (see the photo on the right). If they wear consistency, it’ll be in a simple natural color like a dark ribbons, a tweed predicated on neutral colors such as black, white and grey, a neutral suede or leather leather or a simple textured knit. These textured fabrics will not be complicated as French women like to keep their clothes simple. When buying your clothes ensure that they fit. If they are not just a perfect fit keep these things altered.

The idea is to almost make your clothes appear invisible so that we see you rather than the clothes. How many times perhaps you have noticed a womans clothes before you notice her because they’re too limited or too baggy and totally unflattering? Look for a good tailor who may take up hems on dresses and trousers to measures that are most flattering on you and can also take in jackets and dresses to offer a more tailored and slimmer shape. For French women scarves are their KEY accessory and worn all year round. They may be French wardrobe essentials.
